October 2017
I've got ninety-nine problems...
I was recently told that I don't say enough about my month so I will attempt to rectify that with this post and maybe subsequent posts. We shall see though... I tend to be conservative about my personal life and sort of abhor using a website to wax poetic about my life but instead love sharing beautiful photographs of my experiences. I hope to continue keeping it super lite just a bit more substantive. I hope this is amiable to my peeps.
October began in quasi-chaos. An exhibition opening, going out of town, a good friend's birthday, looking for last minute fundraising sponsors, grant panel review, finishing out our Movies & Music on the Lawn series at work and planning an end of the year giving campaign... whew I'm exhausted just looking at that list. It was also Women's Week in Baton Rouge which meant fashion shows, luncheons, and talks. My good friend has recently finished her clinicals for Nursing School which meant we had to celebrate that as well. Rounding off October, Ben took me to Voodoo Fest for my birthday to watch Kendrick Lamar. We had so much fun.
