FIRST FRUIT TREES

Why? "Because I'm an old Southern woman and we're supposed to wear funny looking hats and ugly clothes and grow vegetables in the dirt. Don't ask me those questions. I don't know why, I don't make the rules!"

Grapefruit

I kept watching my fruit, confused that it was taking so long to get ripen. When I bought the tree, it was supposed to be a satsuma tree. I did a little research and found out that some citrus never turns yellow or orange... so I did an experiment and I cut one open last night... and found this!

Grapefruit! What the heck... I guess I'll be going back for a satsuma tree!
